How do I make myself look more asian (Japanese)?

Don't get me wrong. I DO NOT want to go full out all Asian to the point where it's almost like mocking the culture. I am 1/2 Japanese, and I can speak Japanese, but I have noticed that some people, (mainly in Hiroshima where I lived for a few months) treated me differently, by not accepting me into a taxi, and by some older people giving me cynical looks. I just want to blend in more.... Currently, I have brown hair and brown eyes. I'm wondering if I should maybe dye my hair black and maybe cut it a certain way so that it looks more Japanese? Help please! :)
