Any RTS Games Like Empire Earth?

Are there any real time strategy games (pc) like Empire Earth 1? I loved that game to death, but both ee 2/ee 3 sucked. I also looked at Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth and that game doesn't look to bad either, but I have never played it and it did come out a while back so I was wondering if there are any new/relatively new rts game like those two. Please don't say Civ 5 or any game like that. I have played that series and hated it so much. I'm more into moving units around/fighting, but still having the element of strategy.
